Tip #1: Start with a Bang
Hook viewers from the start. Begin your video with an exciting or unexpected moment from your day, something that makes viewers say, “Wow, I want to watch more!”
Tip #2: Be Genuine
Authenticity is key. Don't just tell us the high points, share some of the challenges too. This will make your videos relatable and trustworthy.
Tip #3: Engage with the Viewer
Form a connection by looking directly into the camera now and then, asking questions like, “Ever wondered about the meal plans or food options.?”
Or
“Guess how long it took me to get my first job as a mechanic?”
This creates a conversational feel.
Tip #4: Incorporate Your Daily Rituals
Whether it’s your breakfast routine, a jog around campus, the start of your workday, or your late-night study session, give viewers a taste of your personal rituals.
