Upptik Gives, Inc. is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to one clear mission:
To provide teens with online community mentoring and career exploration services that support them in making effective school and work choices.
Every young person deserves guidance while deciding what comes next. Yet many teens are asked to make life-shaping decisions about college, training, or work with limited real-world perspective and inconsistent support.
Upptik Gives exists to change that.
Why This Matters
The transition from high school into adulthood has never been more complex. Education pathways are varied. Career options are changing constantly. Costs are rising. Expectations are high.
Without near-peer community mentoring and informed exploration, students often make decisions based on pressure, incomplete information, or guesswork.
Upptik Gives supports teens before those decisions are locked in. We create space for thoughtful exploration, practical guidance, and positive peer interaction so students can move forward with clarity rather than confusion.
This is not about directing students toward one path.
It is about helping them make informed choices for themselves.
What We Do
Upptik Gives provides online community mentoring and career exploration services that help teens make informed school and work decisions.
Online Community Mentoring
We provide opportunities for teens to engage in guided conversations, ask questions, and learn from positive role models in a moderated and supportive environment.
Career Exploration Education
Students are introduced to a wide range of industries, skills, and post-high school pathways. They are encouraged to reflect on what fits their strengths and interests before committing to next steps.
Near-Peer & Peer Support
Teens develop communication, empathy, and responsibility by participating constructively in community-based discussions and mentoring experiences.
School and Youth Organization Partnerships
We collaborate with schools and community organizations to extend mentoring and career exploration services to more students across Connecticut.
All programming is educational in nature and designed to support informed decision-making.
How Donations Are Used
Contributions to Upptik Gives support nonprofit mentoring and career exploration services, including:
- Development and facilitation of online near-peer community mentoring
- Creation of career exploration guidance and educational resources
- Moderation and support to ensure a safe, constructive online community
- Expansion of mentoring and exploration services to reach more teens
Donations are used solely for charitable and educational purposes.
Upptik Gives does not sell services to employers, provide recruiting tools, or share student data. The nonprofit’s purpose is to provide online community mentoring and career exploration services that support informed school and work decisions.
