The Interview Producer Intern helps students discover real-world job paths by creating engaging, research-based content. This role is ideal for students interested in journalism, media production, education, or communications. Interns conduct interviews, gather career insights, and create multimedia content that is honest, accessible, and teen-friendly.
Attend the weekly 1-hour team meeting.
Identify, secure, and interview professionals across industries.
Conduct and submit career interviews every two weeks — each one completed, packaged, and delivered on schedule.
Convert insights from interviews into clear, engaging content for high school students.
Research career paths and repackage reliable information into student-friendly formats.
Create videos, scripts, visuals, short posts, or written features that highlight real career journeys.
Ensure all content reflects Upptik’s tone — clear, honest, relatable, and helpful.
Share Upptik content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, tag Upptik in your work, and invite peers and networks to engage.
This unpaid internship complies with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Connecticut state labor laws. Interns receive educational credit and practical content experience.
