Joining Is easy: 

  1. Sign up for your free student account with the Create My Account button below.
  2. Once you’ve created your Upptik profile, you’re ready to visit SCSU’s home page.
  3. Find it by simply typing Southern Connecticut State University in the search bar.

On the SCSU page, you can explore the student community. Students share their experiences via videos and community posts. They’re there to answer your questions and update you on all things life and learning at SCSU.

Check in often to explore important SCSU links, updates, and announcements. This way, you’ll  stay in the know as you plan what’s next on your academic journey.

Upptik is an online career exploration, mentoring, networking, and resumé building platform, where select schools, universities, and companies create private communities to connect with high school and college students to make information sharing easy and enjoyable.

Upptik membership is free to every Connecticut student, ages 15-26. Beyond access to SCSU, your Upptik membership means you can explore the broader community that’s entirely focused on education and career planning and sharing.

You also have access to Upptik’s Resumix tool. Use it to build a shareable, video-enhanced, multimedia resumé that gives you an edge whenever you apply for an opportunity!
